The space between my comfort zone And what you deem acceptable, yeah I'm neither here nor there Take your time, but not a crawl Alcohol or Adderall, decisions are never fair In the grey area, it's always there How do you bridge the gap between what you & I have seen? Don't be alarmed! Being nowhere has a certain charm You can leave my chem trails in the clouds But you can't see the stars from the city anyhow From outer space, your nightlight shines the same From outer space, I think we can relate But I was scared! I wondered if I'd ever get between your hairs And realize we both have skin under there Yeah, it's kind of refreshing Maybe white noise can be translated That's just way too much information A black hole where the grey area lives Between the floor and the ceiling, the ceiling and the roof We're throwing words around, and we're finding common ground Don't be alarmed! Being nowhere has a certain charm We don't have to discourse right away, but you're so charming, oh I'd share anything Sitting below the swing, serine sirens sing The grey area is just as scared as you, or me.

Fall Again 02:12
Even if it hurts, you gotta show up When we get to hell, I'll see what you're made of As everything burns, you can tell by the smell Rotting apple cores, empty shells I can't wait to fall again! The rushing sensation sends blades of grass, dying, crumbling, leaves me unread I can't wait for fall again! The changing of feelings over from them to them As I fall again and again I can't wait to fall again! I can't wait for fall again!

I never thought that this would be the spot I always come back to, cause it's so much like you. Where every single branching path is leading all the way back to a giant statue. Where they give and give everything they've got Even if it's not a lot! I swear, these books and prayers, that nature's always there Mind the gap, be mindful, laugh, meditate, lose track of time Buddha will tell you life's not fair Turn my body inside, it's full of tacks and bones and doubt, and my heart's brokenI never thought that I would take the time to let go of my mind, It's always running and I'm always chasing Can you hear yourself? It's right off 301 Slow down! There's room for anyone, who cares Devote your life! The monastery's there But the sun is gone I know you don't think I'll mind if you fight the snow day Cause it'll stick anyway No, you're nothing like this place You're so much louder "The Magic of Peace" can save The walls from shatter Stillness around can create A movement inward Towards peace, keeps me in place As you call after I can't blame it on you! Buddha told me, and it's true I had to ask myself to Mind the gap, be mindful, laugh Meditate, loose track.

I don't wanna bore you with the details But something exciting happened, I must share Or I might explode because I just got Possibly the biggest news of my life A fifty cent promotion! There's not need for a commotion There's no reason to keep working I quitting my job!! No more rising early Like farmers killing their crops No small talk with contemporaries I can't climb that money pole I'm leaving out the boring details I won't justify my actions What my body needs from me Also happens to make me broke But I hope to god The train isn't late And I hope to god I can stay awake It's a nightmare! Skip out on dinner with a buck to spare Missed out a meal with some friends Who knows when I'll see them again When you're unemployed you're unimportant Save for a train ticket to Brooklyn Spent the night dancing in an appartment It was the first time all summer, only laughing! If you got money in the bank then I suggest you spend it On some nicer shoes And volleyball equptment It's already July and the city's calling your name Catch the train, life's a game, life's a game And I hope to god The train isn't late And I hope to god I can stay awake Long enough to not care Which bed I take And I hope to god I've got enough saved
